Take puttu podi 1 scoop for 1 ratio,take salt water and sprinkle and mix well with both the hands so that lumps are not formed.Repeat this process until you can make rice balls out of it which can easily be crumpled down.

Now the mix is ready. Take the puttu kutti and after placing the chillu put some grated coconut then some mix then layer with cocunut grating and in top also fill with coconut grating. close the lid. Place a pressure cooker 1/3rd filled with water and heat and once the steam starts coming place the puttu kutti and once the steam starts coming from puttukutti wait for 5 mts and then you can take the puttukutti from the pressure cooker and the puttu is ready to serve.
